I would describe it as male poetry. I’ll define that when I finish the book 🙂. It’s interesting.

I adored that poem, both ‘A Good One’ and ‘shit time’

Damn- some of this poetry hits deep. It’s so damn raw and at points distant. But it’s gorgeous to see something that doesn’t care about how raw it is at showing life on the poor side.

Almost done!

I couldn’t stop myself- so I read another chapter- while slightly inebriated! Felt the best way to enjoy Bukowski’s works. Chapter 3 was gorgeous- all about a red-head he seemed to actually love- well- in whatever way Bukowski could love. Amazing ending poem to this one.

Woo! That’s good for tonight- finishing the rest tomorrow! I’m adoring this- Bukowski’s poetry is something else, man.
