I feel as though it doesn’t make sense that in this far into this. Nonetheless, the excerpts from today are heartfelt and I have been in both places before, just trying to get through and be and earn yourself.
It’s confidence to say you know your worth, but it’s also bravery to acknowledge that you belong.

I forgot to do my night one last night. I liked the one about knowing your worth though and trying to keep away those whose words drip “like venom” at night. And for this morning, to acknowledge knowing your worth but in such a harsh manner? It makes me wonder what happened to the writer

This is terrible because I read it and forgot to update and now I don’t remember what I read.

I like the way hopes and dreams are compared to coffee creamer. And I like that regardless of its its coffee or hope, the hand that pours it is heavy.

This is day one of reading two stanzas a day. I digested two before bed as they are set for daytime then nighttime.
My plan is to read the daytime in the morning to prep my brain for the day ahead and one at night to prep for sleep, regardless of if I read or write that day.
With the two I read tonight, I saw a contrast between “today will be good” and “was today okay? What’s on your mind?”
