ngl the prose + structure of this are kinda ass but satie seems cool. he kinda feels like the Bladee of the 1890s

BRUH don’t talk about the harmonic structure of the song just to give me sheet music with NO harmonic analysis. I am not doing harmonic analysis on my day off that’s YOUR JOB Mr. Myers. I’ve already translated pages of French text because for forbid you give the reader a translation.

This book is just not very informative. Lots of half statements and unexplained ideas. I feel like I’m sending more time looking up translations or definitions than reading the actual text.
