I’ve been working through Dolly Alderton’s works and loved Ghosts. I think Everything I know About Love and Good Material are still my favorites, but I would place Ghosts third. I love the way Dolly writes about friendship and nostalgia.

I’ll think about this line for a while: “One day that baby will sit on a bench, wondering if that navy car is scrap metal somewhere, wishing it could come collect them.”
