almost halfway in and it’s mostly vibes because as soon as we go deeper on a subject we switch to a different one 🥺 i know that’s kind of the point when you’re doing a memoir that is about yourself and your painter dad AND also somehow about a single 17th century event (the proverbial thunderclap) which brought about a dutch masters’ death… but. hoping it will start feeling less disorienting soon
