There's been a lot to criticize about this book but this part takes the cake: why is a woman from ancient Greece wearing a corset? If I remember correctly from my Greek studies days, they didn't use laces in bodices and they rarely wore anything form fitting so describing this Greek princess getting her corset tied is absurd and bothers me.
