Status Updates From Artemisia

At 22% intp the plot, Artemisia has still not shown any of the promised sharp wit, Lord Chysm is running an underground spy network and “Marianne dearest” and “Uncle Timmy” seem to be quite interested in each other.

So far, I’ve read about 10% into the story… And I’m not yet sure what to think of it. There is an anachronism, Artemisia calling her uncle “Uncle Timmy,” which really could have been avoided, and then there is an unfortunate robin with a broken wing sitting high up in a tree… An d above all, Artemisia’s uncle and her husband to be engange in spying on the French. A lttle too much for me…
