So far the experience she went through is terrifying, but I’m constantly left feeling like: ok, you knew you were in a dangerous country with hostile practices including that to other journalists, your press pass was revoked, you continued journalism both private and paid jobs without one for YEARS including sensitive content. I don’t believe people deserve bad things, but also what did she expect?
