Today I went to a book club to discuss the first six episodes of Ulysses.
I realized that being in a book club is kind of like watching a movie at the cinema rather than at home. It’s a completely different experience.
I now have a much better understanding of what is happening in this book and I am excited to read more of it

If there is any reason to read Ulysses, it should be so that one can read the incredibly beautiful, musical, and moving episode of Sirens. Never have I seen music captured in such a way in a book. On to Cyclops, which I think is going to get a similar post of praise in a few weeks!
