Heather is not charged to death but charged to stand on a platform for three hours because she gave birth to a child before getting married. She also refuses to say the father’s name. People in the crowd are very rude towards her.

GANG WE FINALLY FINISHED IT
IT TOOK ABOUT LEGIT SEVEN MONTHS🥲
overall pretty good- I think I’d like it more if I read it on my own time because I had to take seven months to read it and so we are all done with it now but I think if I read it of my own free will I think I would like it more than I do right now:)

Not seldom, she would laugh anew, and louder than before, like a thing incapable and unintelligent of human sorrow. Or—but this more rarely happened—she would be convulsed with a rage of grief, and sob out her love for her mother, in broken words, and seem intent on proving that she had a heart, by breaking it.
