Explains significance of star and moon as Islamic symbols; Sirius = divine proof, of Prophet Muhammad’s heavenly ascension. Muhammad split the moon to prove to the Quraysh (who controlled Mecca) that Islam is the true faith.
Ch 56 afterlife rewards and punishments.
Ch 57 importance of charity, which ultimately leads to greater reward.
57:20 “…this world’s life is naught but a source of vanity.”

Call to arms (context: before a battle against persecution). Allah will guide believers to victory, they will be rewarded. Calls for sacrifice for the cause; Many lines involve deeds being rewarded or voided, based on one’s beliefs.
Enemies to be fought until they can’t persecute any more. Captives to be taken and released.
Can’t share my thoughts within limit. Must study further.
