Goodreads isn’t letting me rate the last few books and I keep getting the error about servers full try again for a week and a half now.

Probably a 2.5 but rounds to 3. Just did not like the heroine. The H and h didn’t even start talking until about 68% in. Not much chemistry in her side until the last 15% of the book and she was just written not in a way to be redeems but in a way that you actually just don’t like her and her constant immaturity and the repetitiveness. Her other books are good and I’m looking forward to the rest!

They’ve hated each other up to 68%. Now they’re at least having their first conversation. I want to read book 3 so trying to ge through this by lunch tomorrow.

Yeah just not liking this h at all. She’s a little snit. I like she’s flawed with her stealing and it’s good to see a flawed character but she’s such an immature and bad attitude and written negatively by this point. I thought it was meant to come across as one way but it’s just annoying by this time of the book. No chemistry between the two. Will keep reading. I liked book 1. It’s written well.

I’m not sure why this is taking me so long to read. Something just not clicking with me. I think the H is a bit not able to commiserate or relate to and the H hasn’t had as much page time.

This is peak Difficult Heroine and I absolutely adore it.

The second half of this book is significantly better than the first half.

So frustrated by this book, but I’m so far in I may as well finish. I read a review that describes the heroine as TSTL, which I had to look up. It’s a very apt description. (Too stupid to live)

I am not enjoying this book. The main characters should not be committing armed robberies.
