Why, oh why, do these 15 yo protagonists never tell people about their “special situations”. It’s so annoying. Are we ever going to learn why and how this is happening to him bc it will cause me not to continue reading/listening if he doesn’t share his secret with others.

The whole, I must be the BEST IN THE WORLD, because the other 15 yo was an asshole to me trope is, even for fantasy, unbelievable.

25% through and it’s not quite what I expected. Problem is, I’m not sure what I expected in the first place. My first literary RPG and I was envisioning a final fantasy aesthetic, which it kind of fits, but it also has a completely different story direction than any FF I’ve ever played. Fun so far!
