Couldn’t finish couldn’t be arsed. Felt a bit like a self-indulgent project from a creative writing class

God I wanted to like this book but it's dragging. And making me feel stupid because fancy writer man keeps doing fancy prose.
I don't think I'm ever going to finish this

This is so masculine writer-y and I don‘t know if I‘m here for that vibe, soz

self-indulgent but what else to expect from a diary? still intrigued to read on. (hate that there are no page numbers though, just roughly guessing here)

“Dust of course is constantly falling onto the desk — and I am quite fond of dust. When I can’t think of anything to write, or it’s made everything I can see obtrusively opaque, I wipe it away with spit and tissues”. Just another snippet emphasising how engaging this book is!
