This was definitely better than book 1, 2, 3 and 5, but not better than 4. Whilst Drakkar's book is still my favourite, Frantor's story is a close 2nd. It was more couple and romance focused rather than description/ inner-monologue and trivial info-dump heavy as some of the other books. So, it definitely is an improvement, but the insta-lust was too much with such dark character backgrounds. But overall, it was good.

So far this one has a better start than most of the others in the series. Whilst it is descriptive, it's pretty much describing things that are necessary and inner-monologues are more personal rather than 5 pages of explaining who is who, which the other books were guilty of. The romance is also building at a slow pace as it should be with such character backgrounds. However, the insta-lust could be slightly reduced.
