"‘If it’s hysterical, it’s historical’ - so true as I learned abt my anxious attachment. A helpful tool from the author: reparenting your inner child, a form of deep healing. Painful to face my inner child wounds, but bringing forth my inner parent to tell my inner child: I love you no matter what, I’m here for you, I hv your back, you’re protected, not abandoned, & your feelings are not too much.
