This is honestly painful to read, in a bad way. I tried my best but gotta DNF

There is suspense in the story when Soma's best friend repeatedly encourages / pushes her to sign up for the poetry competition. Soma isn't certain she wants to do it, as she's only shared one poem that she has written. It's gotten mostly positive comments, but some critique. This creates uncertainty for the reader as it seems like she'll enter the contest, but since she's a beginner, you don't know how she'll do.
