Status Updates From Iran: A People Interrupted

I’m already annoyed with this author. He oscillates between acknowledging our cultural heritage and contributions to claiming that they are inspired from elsewhere in the world???

“At a time when the Greeks were busy reading Plato and Aristotle, “the Persians,” as the Greeks called them, we’re up in arms invading other people’s lands, occupying their territories, and forming a vast, useless, shapeless, and embarrassing empire.”

Literally the sentence before he acknowledges that the only primary sources we have at that time are from GREEK HISTORIANS.

I am loving it so far.
