Status Updates From What the Dog Saw, dan Petua...

I wonder what the updated bits would be to the breast cancer story, or if we have any better means of detecting it… hearing how hard it is to diagnose it, I’m fairly freaked out… maybe that’s also why it’s on the rise? (Again, these were from 2009 or earlier.)

Dr. John Rock and his desire to create birth control by altering hormones in women&trying to have Catholic Church approve was focusing on keeping women from getting pregnant vs how it can save lives by cutting the amount of periods a woman had, thus cutting cancer rates is interesting.

I have been a Malcom Gladwell fan since the very first time I read “the Tipping Point”, “Outliers,” “David & Goliath”, and “Blink.” (I found ‘Revenge of the Tipping Point,’ to be decent enough but it wasn’t favorite.)

I was never able to get my hands on this before, despite being published way back in 2009.
