I don't recall THAT WHICH SURVIVES episode but do recall the ensign Demato name... oh this is the stupid woman that has to disrupt every cell in Just one crew member... this is a really stupid episode (IMO)

RETURN TO TOMORROW was Not a favorite story... it's another bodyless aliens need human bodies to overcome their temp/perm storage in Tupperware.

Fourth story is pretty lit. I do enjoy the character study on Kirk and his motivations, albeit limited in scope and word count.
I like the idea of the gaseous cloud creature, somewhat akin to the inter dimensional fart cloud from rick and morty, and it’s almost godlike powers.

As much as I love Star Trek, sometimes I get frustrated with how they portray women. Valued only for their beauty, for their relevance to men, they are completely absolved of their skills unless there is a man beside them to give them “purpose”.
I flipped to check when this book was published and it was in 1973. Damn.
