Status Updates From Goose Chase: A Witty Fairy ...

This story is silly but I'm loving it.

Fav quote: "The prince leapt to his feet..."tis a lie!" he roared. ' every word is false. I swear upon my honor as Prince Edmund... that there is not an atom of truth to the Goose Girl's statement." (page 127)

fav quote: "finding the king's missing bride as well as the king's rival for her hand, wandering far from home on the king's own land" (page 115) They were stuck in a tree trying to avoid the king's soldiers, and it's a super quick summary of the book.

Summary: a girl named Alexandria (mostly called Goose Girl) is forced to pick between marrying the prince of the King. She escapes the tower and encounters various troubles while in the woods and even gets captured but in the end she meets a witch that lifts the spell on her geese (who were actually her sisters) and curses the King. She lives happily ever after with the Prince.

Pages 41-52: Goose Girl encounters a cottage her geese too her to but in the early dawn she finds out 3 big ogresses live there and are now planning on eating her, but she convinces them that she will cook for them. One of the ogresses thought she would run away and ended up tying her hair to a metal hoop so she wouldn't run away.
Human vs Supernatural

Type of conflict: Man vs. Man

"The king and the prince, I must tel you, are both courting me... I am to choose between them, which is why I am shut up in the desolate tower" (page 5)

Setting: First at the castle, then the woods, then a castle dungeon, woods again for a bit, then ending at a castle.
In the "Western World"
Favorite scene: when Alex is trying to convince the baroness that they are some someplace else, the prince at the very end of the story blurts out that it's all false. He didn't know she made up the story to help them escape their capture.(pages 122-131)
