gonna be honest, I'm skipping right to the "Vampire Romance" novella at the end. The war novel was a SLOG. I got well over half way and I was bored. If this wasn't the 4th in the series I've read (I've been reading in timeline order) I wouldn't have continued on.

I've read 3 other books (2 novels and one graphic novel) in this series. This is the least interesting book so far. I'm not a huge war book person so that might be it. It's a slow read for me. Not a bad book but like....I'm not a war story person.
