I can’t finish! so many repeating lines of dialogue with the same character physically reacting in the same way as well? Not good for me to just assume it’s AI but dang she was published quite long ago? I wanted something gritty and I’m falling asleep

„Entering, he left unclear tracks in the dust behind him, and the dust muted his footsteps, seemed to ad­here like cobweb to his shoes. The dust seemed a huge powdery cobweb.”

Already the descriptions of every single thing the character senses is incredibly redundant and drawn out. I wanted Dagon! Not a whole page so far of him just describing the way his attic looks and looking at every single item to describe it.

It’s not everyday you lock yourself in a shackle in the attic.
