Status Updates From Shutout

Today I read about how there was a note sent home about no alcohol or drugs and then Amanda's dad had a problem with it so they all got into an argument. I think that the parents are going to fight and maybe get a divorce, the fight was really bad.

Today I read about how unfair it was that Lena got to go on varsity and Amanda didn't. Everyone was telling Amanda she should've made it and how supposedly Freshman are not supposed to make varsity. People were giving Lena a hard time about making varsity telling her she cheated and that spot isn't made for her and its made for Amanda. I think Lena is going to give up her spot so Amanda can have it.

Today I read about how Amanda was getting ready to go find out if she will play on varsity as a freshman or JV. She didn't make it but her friend Lena did. She was happy for her friend but she knew she was better than Lena. She was going to talk to the varsity coach but she was scared. I think next practice she is going to talk to her and I have a good feeling she will get changed from JV to varsity.

Today I read about how Amanda and Lena like to sleep in the basement with sleeping bags so they can gossip and they like to have fake campouts like they were six.

Today I read about Amanda's family and about her half siblings and step siblings. I also read about how Amanda doesn't like being goal because she likes running around trying to score and get the ball instead of just standing there waiting for something to happen. I have a feeling she will play goal because everyone has a position and she can't just keep her place all the time they have to rotate around.

I just started reading this book so I don't know much about it but I read the back of the book and I can tell I will really enjoy it.
