I have always loved this book. I will always love this book.

Reread. I read this one so much as a teenager but it's been 20 years since I revisited it. Holds up so far.

This book is so charming! I an in love with the details of the rooms and people. From a jar with two brass buttons in it to the description of an unconventional aunt’s dinner table spreads. I find the level of observation so fun to experience as a reader.
