So Alan McGee thinks he's only met one other band that did more drugs than Spacemen 3. Makes sense, there's so much butane, heroin et al talk, it's pretty impressive Jason Pierce and Sonic Boom are still alive.

This makes everyone in the band look like idiots...

This is so badly written, ugh. I love spacemen 3 to bits but there's no need to write this shitty beat poetry style as an "ode" to them. And also the glorification of their drug use is a bit much. I'm not anti drugs, but the O.D. death was written in such a nonchalant way...
