Ch. 2 It makes more sense than the first time I read it. I love how the effects of time-lag are demonstrated by Ned’s behavior. We studied Waterhouse for a term so I’m very familiar with the nymphs. The key is not to get bogged down in the details and breathless dialogue.Wills’s books are often head-spinning and fast paced, loaded with details and action. The point is Ned’s going to rest in the Victorian era.
