Finished. This story was okay. Not what I expected a Stacia Kane story to be. It was a struggle to finish it. It was putting me to sleep. But I'm done now, thankfully. I'll decide if I want to read book two after my nap.

Ah, how I love the clarity that comes after a good sleep. Upon waking, I remembered that on page 124, Greyson left to get drinks. --chapter break-- Greyson and the brothers are at Megan's house bloody and bruised... and Tera is with them. Was there a bar fight? What set it off? I think it was a way to get Tera into the story, but a less disjointed way would have been better. :-(

My puppy has decided it's time for Mommy to go to sleep, so Chapter Twelve is on hold. I'm not sure how I'm liking this story. On the one hand, it's interesting. On the other, though, it feels rather disjointed. I'm inclined to think that I am enjoying it, though, especially now that I've met Malleus, Maleficarum, and Spud. :-)

It's cute & fast paced. Something about the tone reminds me a little of an IZombie episode. I'll probably forget it moments after I finish but there's a sexy demon so I'll keep going.
