Othello and Zorra go to Melmoth to ask him if he can help all the sheep escape, but he sees this as unrealiastic and says it might work better to scare Gabriel so he doesn’t fatten them up and kill them.

Melmoth tells the story of what happened the night Ham the Butcher, and George chased after him. They found a dead body, McCarthy‘s body. They come to the realization that some villagers murdered him and they’ve come up with a plan to out the murderers using Hams CCTV. Melmoth reaffirm lamb on what she saw that night George was killed.
