This has a sizable bibliography so I'm actually further along than 46% suggests. So far it reads like a socioeconomic essay on the witch hunt, covering a much wider area and longer period than the 1581-2 St Osyth focus implied by the blurb. It's dry and chaotic, dense with dates, names, land ownership and family ties. Hoping the final chapter (An Untrue and Unjust Record) pulls it all together into something coherent
