Status Updates From Last to Die (Sheridan, #2)

I really just want to finish this book and move onto something new, but I feel like I have to finish it.
Haven't been able to get into it and i think it's a combination of the cringey/ pretty simple writing (in parts, not all of it) and the fact i started a new job and am super busy 🙃

Again, the romance is getting pretty cringe (coming from someone who loves Bridgerton, mind you). I think it's probably due to it being badly written rather than anything else. The thriller part is pretty interesting though so I'm preservering.

The romance in this is kind of undermining the thriller part. Like, I'm partial to a romance but that's not really what I came here for and the switches between dramatic thriller and an old flame being reignited are making me cringe a little.

The bits from the killer's perspective are a bit cringe but fun

Been absolutely swamped with my new job so I'm glad to finally make a start on this. Looking like it will be a very classic thriller which I am ready for.
