This book is a tough one to get through because it is so rich with valuable tips! I sometimes walk around banging my head wondering “What should I write about?” Then, I pick this up and have to keep pausing to add ideas to my writing idea bank spreadsheet. While some of the tips are outdated due to the evolution of technology, the heart of this is spot-on.

Okay, that call-out was cut off, not just mod-sentence, but mid-URL. If I hadn't had a recommendation I would have quit this mess already. Now I need to remember who recommended it to decide whether I trust their judgment enough to keep going.

Okay, this is too much activity for 4 pages, but, honestly, the advice to seek out local newspapers is crap nowadays, most of the writing is done by internet labor throughout the globe.

Of course, this book could have helped me avoid the GirlsGoingOut.com fiasco.

Bah. For being a book about writing there are a lot of places a proofreader was needed.
Picked this up for "how to find time to be creative while being a mom" on recommendation. Less about that, more just an average, "how to be published book." No real emphasis on being a mom so far.
