Status Updates From Stowarzyszenie Umarłych Poetów

Surely we can do better than write something like “His mood seemed serious and quiet”? I’m not sure what I should expect of a book adapted from an original movie but everything up until this point has just been literal telling of what’s happening in the movie, and if that’s the case then what even is the point of this book?
