Status Updates From Princess and the Peabodys

(finished) i got invested. i loved this book so much. cried at the end. as per usual. agh i loved it. it was cute and girly and dumb and normal and sweet and funny. :)

i start to judge bits of this book but then i smile and laugh and catch myself going “i hope i remember this”. part of me wants to hate this so much. another part is scared and embarrassed to say i enjoy it.

enjoying the book despite the story kind of making no sense and only happens for the sake of the reader, it feels, still is just cute and great to read before i go to sleep

i saw the cover and almost put it back because it looked dumb and girly, but it sounded cool besides this internalized misogyny so i started reading it. it is cute. it is pink. i can enjoy this. i am allowed to enjoy it. i like it. and that is okay.
