Notes:
(1) So this ended kind of weird. In the latter half of this, though you could say the same of the volume in general, Spawn's out of commission.
- The only stories he's fairly active in are the ones to do with kids. Otherwise, he's either bound or convalescing.
- On the plus side, we get more Sam and Twitch.
(2) I hate cliffhangers! Now I have to read the next volume!

Notes:
(1) The Christmas issue was fine. It's actually a clever concept, just done so doe-eyed and sappy as to be cloying.
- I do appreciate the oblique Rob Liefeld reference. The teenage daughter talks about a cool guy in a Lee Jeans ad. Liefeld, famously, starred in a Levi's Jeans commercial.
(2) Spawn willing his body back together reminds me of The Bride in "Kill Bill."

Notes:
(1) Tony S. Daniel draws three issues here. I think I've been spoiled by his modern work. Last volume it didn't look like him at all. Just flipping through this, it's very clear that he was imitating McFarlane.
- Greg Capullo started that way too, but quickly evolved to his own distinct style.
(2) The Christmas issue should be interesting.
- I predict less murdering.

Spawn fought an Angel to the death but it was his suit that acted on its own to deliver the killing blow. Spawn returned to the Rat City Alleys and a stranger told him the suit had been feeding on evil and that Al must become the suits owner rather than its host before it is to late.

After spawn got reunited with his suit the lab he was trapped in exploded and then he flew very far away. Spawn landed in an old shed and a child went to see what happened and then they talked about super heroes.

Spawn got seperated from his suit but then the suit broke the glass pod it was in and reconnected to its host
