Finished Chapter 10, where Doc goes down to Sunset Boulevard and uncovers something more about Golden Fang.
Man, the Golden Fang moniker and Mickey Freeman’s connection with them is getting deeper and deeper by the minute. Maybe there will be a major twist surrounding “Golden Fang” and Mickey’s involvement, but I’m getting ahead of myself.

Finished Chapter 9, where Doc freaks out at a drug-fueled mansion, meets up with Bigfoot to discuss Coy, watches disturbing footage at Farley’s home, gets down with Liz, and chats with a woman named Clancy and a guy named Boris.
Well this is a big chapter, which I appreciate for its more detailed look into the roughness of the era, more details on Mickey’s disappearance, and a very trippy mansion sequence.

Ok, so we have got a little more detail into the wild world of Inherant Vice, there’s a little tension with Doc’s relatives, a little mystery with the Golden Fang, and some social commentary related to the Nixon era.

Finished Chapter 7, where Doc learns about the mysterious “Golden Fang”, goes back to the office to gather some clues, and has two of the most trippy drug trips of his life.
This book proves that when you look deeper into the mystery, sometimes you’ve got to take a break, catch some waves and go on some unforgettable drug trips. by the way, don’t do drugs kids, or you will end up somewhere you don’t know.

Finished Chapter 6, where Doc meets up with a lawyer, goes to the FBI files room with some Agents, and goes out to a nightly dinner with Motella & Lourdes.
I kind of get the vibe that the book is going with, like an average stoner, it usually wanders around aimlessly, but the mystery element of the book is pretty intriguing. Add on a mystery involving “The Golden Fang” and it’s a packed mystery with style.
