“Handling" the situation means telling the person who engages in such behavior to stop doing it, finding ways to avoid contact with the person, and ignoring the hurt, fear, embarrassment, and emotional injury the behavior causes for the good of the race, we are told. But those feelings exist no matter what your race. We must deny our gender in order to maintain our racial identity. Pg279
