Status Updates From Tatlin!

A tale of the French teenagers that accidentally discovered the largest circuit of cave paintings in the world during the occupation of Paris. They are not deeply invested in the paintings but moreso concerned about the changes taking place in their bodies- who has the largest penis or most hair on their chests?

I like having a book to read on the train to work, but there are so many references to songs and paintings that I can’t go through this without a search engine nearby

This is so beautifully written I want to drink up every page

I’ve started this as a PDF but I think this is the kind of book where I’ll need to take notes

Davenport's style is really really cool; doubtless he pulls it off even easier w people like me who haven't heard of Vladimir Tatlin, nor've ever cared to learn the names of the teenagers who stumbled across the enormous toros of Lascaux - ah - the airFIELDS of Brescia, Kafka, Wittgenstein.

Best historical fiction this side of WTV.
