Two separate stories finally intertwining. The end of the chapter was nice. I'm starting to like these characters.

Malgus and Zeerid have gripped me as interesting characters. The others are meh. I see where the plot is going on the Jedi / Republic side. I'll be curious to see what the book has left for Malgus to do at this point.

Enjoying the read so far. A little awkward knowing it's trying to translate the cinematic trailer to book form. Malgus is an interesting character. I'll be interested to see where Z-man's plot goes.

I really want to like this book. It's kind of interesting, but not in a way that keeps me hooked.

I will say, while I dont like the way it shifts between character perspectives in the middle of a chapter, I think it fits very well in Chapter 5. It made the context of the scene a lot more interesting. I also noticed, this seems like a common thing in these books (there was something like this in Revan).

It's ok. Kind of interesting so far, but missing some details I liked from other star wars books.
