There's a whole lot of totally unnecessary dialog. Just slows things down. rotating through super short scenes helps for the fast paced parts but doing the whole thing like that just doesn't work

Here's an idea..instead of saying ""Yeah, that's true,' Masters agreed" why don't you just say..."Masters agreed"

I wonder what the characters would sound like in my brain if I wasn't listening to this audiobook with this woman trying to force male voices without knowing how. they all sound like the annoying pubescent/teen boy character in a cartoon
