Status Updates From The Imitation of the Rose

Sometimes you have to accept that finding an author you have never heard of might be an indication that they are not what you are looking for. A few of these stories are interesting enough to keep me reading; the rest are Mrs Dalloway on steroids.

The title story, the first, gave me Mrs Dalloway dread. “Inner life” is the theme of the first three, so I am bracing myself.
