Finished.
Hmmm. Not as strong as what else I've read by her, but still thought-provoking.

Review to come.

There's a lot in the book about questioning what we physically experience is real.

Donally's finally gone.

Donally's son had something good happen to him for once.

“And if you’ve got to worship something, why not the snake, which sloughs off its skin and turns up all fresh and ready for anything and can also form itself into a perfect circle by putting its tail in its mouth. And lives in air and soil. And carries poison in its mouth all the time ready to defend itself. I have nothing against snakes, mind.”

Stop beating up Donally's son! Leave that poor boy alone!

Marianne, fight back!

So Jewel has a tattoo of Adam and Eve on his back.
That actually explains of a lot.
