Status Updates From Silver Birch, Blood Moon

Skin So Green and Fine by Wendy Wheeler. My new favorite shirt. She didn't publish much, and is now deceased. What a writer. I wil miss her even though I've read so small a sample of her work.

I think a lot of the stories are dragging and a little dated. Some of them were really good though, so I continue.

reading this is making me remember how much i love short story anthologies. very good for my ADHD squirrel brain.

My enjoyment of this is tempting me to reread Black Thorn, White Rose at some point in the future.

The Vanishing Virgin - Harvey Jacobs
I’m not familiar with the fairy tale this is based on, but I did find this one of the more enjoyable stories I’ve read so far in this anthology. It tells the tale of a stage magicians wife and magicians assistant, and how she found her true love (and maybe true magic?).

Glass Coffin - Caitlín R. Kiernan
OK - I've listened to this one twice, and neither time could I manage to actually focus on the story. Maybe I'll try again later, but for now will be moving on.
