I’m probably going to DNF this one for now, mostly because I have too many other books waiting for me. That being said, from what I’ve read so far, it does seem like a solid introduction to the series that follows. I might come back to it later when I’m more in the mood for it.

Not enjoying it won't finish

I don't think this is for me. I appreciate the content warning for child death, but I don't think I can continue now that I know it's a child we're actually going to spend time with.
