Status Updates From It's a Fabulous Life

Wow…I hate this book now? This last chapter is infuriating. Poor Bailey is just being constantly gaslit, guilt tripped, and manipulated. Yikes

No one…absolutely no one talks to themselves out loud this much

Ok this shift in Bailey isn’t character based. She goes from “I’m just tired of putting everyone else first” to “I make everything worse” in one day. It makes no sense. The entire book she has been complaining about never being able to prioritize herself to all the sudden she’s the problem? Doesn’t track or feel connected to character. Also, I think Maria is gaslighting her and that’s obnoxious.
