Status Updates From La Tour de Babylone

A lot of themes feel repetitive but I guess he thinks about the same stuff. These are not stories of my life. It's my first time reading a short story collection out of order, I like Division by Zero and Tower of Babylon. Meeting him (after finishing Story of Your Life, The Evolution of Human Science) has made me enjoy the book a little less, though.

Hell is the Absence of God - Easily my favorite of the stories. As a former Catholic, now atheist-leaning agnostic, this scratches a very specific itch for me of respecting Christian lore within a humanist perspective.

4 stars for the seventh story. Excellent (!!!) story, but a dull delivery
