-Connect learners to learners, topic, personal goals, learning outcomes
-Connections > icebreakers. Connections connect learners to each other while focusing on the topic
-Connection activity comes BEFORE intros, goals, agendas, rules
-Use warm-up (pre-training), fast pass (1-2mins), start-up (5-10mins) to build connections

Connections -> Concepts -> Concrete Practice -> Conclusion keeps learners engaged and on their feet.

Was gifted this by my work mentor and have been fascinated so far:
-change the "power of the paradigm" that trainers talk and learners listen.
-use brain-friendly pedagogy to bring discussion, movement, participation, teaching-back
-if deprived of stimulation, the brain creates its own world (daydreaming)
-people remember emotional experiences
-create informal learning environments for comfy & collaborative learning
