Status Updates From How Like a God

Books written in what I guess is called 'Second Person' narrative - "You smile at her, and light a cigarette. She seems put off, so you hastily dab it out..." etc., etc. - are always a bit jarring at first (Hey, I don't WANT to be the main character!). But they are such a rarity, it's kind of fun to slide into that mindset for a while, every blue moon. As for the story here, it's slowly becoming quite sinister.

This, and then Songs of Jamaica (poetry!) by Claude McKay for Black History Month, and some graphic novels and comics all along the way...until it's time for The Hero of Ages (Mistborn #3). That rundown kind of represents what February is going to be a mix of, for me, all the way through. Looking forward to Octavia Butler, Tananarive Due, Beatrice Winifred Iker, Vigilante, Dr Fate, Sandman Mystery Theatre, Mistborn.
