Status Updates From A Ghost in the Window

This is supposed to be about a ghost in a window and so far it’s been family melodrama. Why did I remember liking this as a kid? My kid likes it though, so at least it has that going for it

I reprise an adventure with Betty Ren Wright. I wish it weren't the repeated theme of a disappointed teenager not wanting to go away from friends for the summer holidays. Then she likes the relative she is with or an experience while away and that makes the book sparkle. It could do even better without the disappointment and angst angles.
