I recently watched Guillermo del Toro's Frankenstein and wanted to read the original book since I haven't had the chance yet. I'm SO ready for my heart to get broken even if my brain has trouble with the bigger words used in these books.

Just finished FRANKENSTEIN. Never read a proper gothic novel but this has all the ingredients...Hubris, secrets, regrets, dread(which Shelley really knows how to ramp up), destructive revenge, and a toxic love/hate pseudo father/son relationship that is consummated only in death. Heartbreaking tale of two outsiders.
